The site you're reading (orderloom.app) is a static website. It runs no analytics, no tracking scripts, and no cookies. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard server logs — IP address, requested page, browser type — to serve and secure the site, as any web host does.
The OrderLoom app
OrderLoom is a Shopify app for made-to-order merchants. When a merchant installs it, the app stores the data it needs to run their production workflow:
- Order data — order numbers, line items, personalization details, order status, and the customer's name and email, synced from the merchant's Shopify store. We deliberately do not request customer phone numbers or addresses.
- Proof files — design images and PDFs a merchant uploads for customer approval, stored on encrypted cloud storage (Cloudflare R2).
- Approval records — when a proof was sent, viewed, approved, or had changes requested, kept as the merchant's record of what was agreed.
- Staff accounts — names and emails of team members a merchant invites.
Emails (proof requests, order updates, staff invitations) are sent through Resend, our email provider, from the orderloom.app domain. We never sell data, never use customer data for advertising, and never log customer emails or access links.
Data deletion & GDPR
OrderLoom implements Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks. When a customer requests erasure, their personal details are redacted from our records automatically; when a merchant uninstalls the app, their shop's data is purged automatically. When a customer asks a merchant for a copy of their data, the merchant can provide it from OrderLoom's records (proofs, approvals, and order history are all visible in their Workroom).
